Our Work

Discover the vibrant community engagement projects we have launched across LA County and a diverse array of local organizations. Our mission is to actively involve participants in various stimulating and innovative classes that captivate their interest and nurture their creative potential. Through these engaging initiatives, we strive to foster an atmosphere where imagination flourishes and community bonds strengthen.

LBUSD

In celebration of Black History Month, we proudly took our services to LaFayette Elementary School in Long Beach, where we engaged students in hands-on experiences focused on drought-resistant plants. The students had the opportunity to decorate succulents and plant their own greenery, fostering both creativity and environmental awareness.

Bethune Park

At this vibrant community event for summer PAD (Parks After Dark), participants successfully crafted stunning 4th of July succulent wreaths and designed their very own hanging succulent planters. It was a fantastic opportunity for creativity and community engagement!

Jesse Owens Park

We have partnered with Jesse Owens Park to deliver exciting succulent classes through the Everybody Plays program. Additionally, we have hosted fantastic community events, including the Harvest Festival and the Lunar New Year Celebration.

San Angelo Park

Did you know that you can easily grow food right from the fruits and vegetables you buy at the store? It's true! By saving the seeds from your apples and cutting the bottoms off green onions to grow them in water, you can cultivate your own fresh produce at home. At this community event, participants not only learned how to grow apples effectively but also enjoyed a delicious tasting sample. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with others and explore the exciting world of home gardening!

Community Gathering

Everyone's creativity flourishes uniquely, and we showcased that with four distinct creative stations. Participants had the exciting opportunity to create a self-led canvas painting, craft a stunning succulent terrarium, design their own vibrant fall bouquet, or decorate a stylish reusable glass bottle. There truly was something for everyone to enjoy!
